By accessing or using Unsnag — including using the free Yours or Not tool, starting a free trial, or paying for a subscription — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
These terms apply to all users of Unsnag, regardless of how you access it (web, mobile app, or otherwise).
Unsnag is a self-guided somatic processing app designed to help you feel and move through difficult feelings in the moment. It includes a free AI tool called Yours or Not that separates your feelings from the ones you've absorbed from someone else. The service is:

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or any condition requiring professional care, please seek help from a qualified professional. Unsnag is not designed for those situations and cannot replace that support.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Please don't share your login credentials. You're responsible for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Unsnag. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Unsnag offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription at the current rate (currently $5/month).
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

What you enter during a session belongs to you. You retain ownership of any content you create within Unsnag. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to deliver the service to you.
We don't claim any ownership over your session content, and we don't use it for advertising, model training, or any purpose other than providing the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The Unsnag app, brand, design, guided sessions, the Yours or Not tool, and all associated content are owned by Afi Catena / Unsnag and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.
Unsnag is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using it.
Emotional processing is personal and individual results vary. We can't guarantee that Unsnag will work the same way for everyone.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unsnag and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or emotional distress — arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Unsnag shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
